Salisbury Steak (freezes well)

SALISBURY STEAK

1 lb. lean ground beef
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 egg
salt and pepper
Mix together and form 3-4 patties
Brown on both sides in Skillet
Reduce heat to med/low
mix together
1 can cream of mushroom soup- do not dilute
1 ½ cans of beef broth

add to skillet
cover and simmer for 45 minutes, turning occasionally.
I try to cook at least three servings of this at a time and freeze the other two for later.
