Bananas! Who Knew?!
It probably has something to do with the fact that its 91 degrees in October, and the bananas are confused thinking this is some island on the center of the equator.
The little boy next door is beside himself with excitement over it all.
The first thing he said when we got home from vacation was.... "I picked one of your bananas and I can fit through the dog door"

It's super hot here as well and the banana trees are just flourishing with fruit. It will be awhile until it gets too cold for them.
i often wondered if they made real bananas. Your green thumb is at it again. I'm gonna have to get me some banana trees.
Amazing - - Banana Trees ! Amazing ! Reminds me of a Coconut Tree - - - Did not realize the bananas grew so close to the top of the tree (like Coconuts) - - Wished you did live on an Island - - I'd bring the family to visit for a month or so and pick some bananas !
Wow! Banans in your backyard. I can't even imagine. Meanwhile, my children are in snowpants, mitts, and toques playing in the snow.
Haha, "...and I can fit through the dog door", too funny!
Would you be willing to trade your temps for ours for a few days here and there throughout the next 6 months? We've got 28F here this morning and though we don't have any snow right here, much of the province has been "blessed" already.
Ha! Sounds like you've got a future cat burgler on your hands. At least he's honest.
