Magazines to keep for future reference are separated into labeled magazine holders (the sturdy plastic kind). I don't keep many magazines, but sometimes there are special Christmas issues or Thanksgiving issues to save each year. The other holder is for general magazines which is mostly organizational and home decoration ones.
The Christmas journal lives with the Christmas magazines. (See it there?)

There will very shortly be a fourth magazine holder joining the group labeled for the Mr. Currently, his magazines to keep are stashed here and there. I feel I must step in.
