My crepe myrtles are clapping their hands

For you will go out with joy and be led forth with peace. The mountains and the hills will break forth into shouts of joy before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.

Beautiful!! I love flowering trees.

As to your comment on my LWW post, the only reason the weight's coming off so quickly now is because I only just started 6 weeks ago and I started out a good 45 pounds overweight. The first half or so always come off fairly quickly on WW because the change in lifestyle is so sudden and radical.

I am counting pretty meticulously and I'm getting an average of 5 activity points every day between playing a bit of soccer or some other running games with the girls, going for walks, and jogging on my elliptical. But really, once I'm down to the last 10-15 pounds, they'll take me FOREVER! I'm enjoying the momentum now, but I know I'll get frustrated this fall because it'll go so much slower the closer I get to my goal.

She speaks the truth, my friend!

The more you've got to lose, the faster it falls. At first. And if you're really trying.

I find that I can lose up to 4 lbs in a week for the first 3 weeks on WW, but after that it's like 0.3, 0.6, nothing.

The most important thing is that you are seriously changing your lifestyle. And that will have nice, long-term health benefits. (Me, I'm really just trying to lose weight, then I'll probably revert back to my chip-eatin', slurpee-drinkin' self. Sigh.)
