While we were all busy watching the award show last night.... The White House was busy hosting a party for the Governors. Look here for all the details, including menu, centerpiece, china and crystal.

And, because all three of you have asked repeatedly... I will now open the comments for questions and will actually answer them in a later post. Anything you wanted to ask me? Now is your chance.

very interesting white house post. thanks for the info.
Thanks for taking questions.

1) You seem to love being in the kitchen. How did your love of cooking, recipes, and all around kitchen doings get started?

3) Why aren't there more pictures on your posts? I would love to see more about you.

Girl, I have been racking my brain for what to ask you, because I ask everything I want to know in email, so here goes...

#1 - I want to know more about your dog. What's his name (I know you've told us before)? How old is he? Have you had him since he was a puppy? Is he "part of the family" or "just a pet?"

#2 - Where the heck do you find all your weight watchers recipes?

#3 - What's the next project in your house? (And yes, more pictures please!)

#4- Have you ever found an alligator in or near your yard?

#5 - Where did you learn so much about plants and trees and such?

#6 - How old are you turning on Friday, again? Something tells me it's a milestone day that warrants some big celebrating... (Sorry, couldn't resist, lol.) :)

Hi Bob - I like the idea of the O'bama's designing new dinner plates.

Your story was good -

I did not think Ms. Obama's dress was appropriate for occasion (kitchen) - but no one asked me

I'm famaliar with small kitchen areas for political - - as in Governor's Kitchen - Baton Rouge

My question to you: - Did you ever think of opening business to cater food - or to cater wedding dinners

Oh look - and you thought there were only three of us wanting answers... :)
