Im exhausted and Monday is coming.

I spent a lot of my weekend working on my garden to do list.

I'm pretty proud of myself for accomplishing so much- finally got all the assorted Lilies in the yard moved to one place, fertilized and tucked in. It was a lot of work. A lot more work than it sounds here. I am excited about it because most of them were here when I got the house, since they were in the shade, they have never bloomed. I cant wait to see what I have. After all this work, I hope I like them.

I then spent the rest of the weekend trying to rig the new bird feeder to keep the squirrels out, trying to rig the floor mats in the kitchen to keep the dirty dog feet to a minimum, finding a snake in the back yard, running out of Advil the weekend I need it most, going to a yard sale, (got this bowl for $1- its milk glass)

. . . going to a women's Conference, cleaning the kitchen, cleaning the kitchen, and then cleaning the kitchen a few more times, grocery shopping, laundry, and....

No wonder I am exhausted.

Did I mention I cooked?

Saturday I made sweet potato soup, breakfast cookies, bean burritos and crawfish's casserole, most of which was given away and/or frozen for later.

I didn't even get around to doing what I had planned to do, clean the master bedroom. Like, really clean it. Like, move everything out of it, rent a steam cleaner then get on your hands and knees, cleaning baseboards and blinds and everything else. This makes me laugh and shake my head just thinking of doing this. But, I'll just move it to next weekend.

I'll forget by then how miserably tired I am right now. And I'll get more Advil.
