Random weekend recap

Random tidbit about my weekend number one:
Weekend started Friday evening with rain. I was so happy to see a rainy day. Means I can delay watering the garden a little longer. Not so happy to see/hear the storms passing over early Saturday morning. Worst I've heard in a long time.

Random tidbit about my weekend number two:
For the first time in a really long time, laundry is done. Everything in the house is clean, folded and put away. Not clean and laying on the table, not folded and laying on the couch. Which is really an accomplishment.

Random tidbit about my weekend number three:
Somehow Butch has hurt his hip and is limping around the house looking pitiful. He cant jump on the bed and when trying to jump on the couch today, he missed and hit the floor. We are going to have to buy some doggie steps for him to be able to get in bed and on the couch. He is also going to start taking arthritis medication.

Random tidbit about my weekend number four:
Went to a party at the old governor's mansion Saturday night. I had never been. It is quite the place, built to look like the White House and worth a further tour.

Random tidbit about my weekend number five:

This weekend, I cooked:
Cole slaw
Baked Chicken with Baked Potato
Brown Sugar Cookies
Toffee/Chocolate Crunch
Chocolate Bunt Cake
Beef Stew
96 Meatballs
Roasted Brussel Sprouts

Wow, busy weekends. We just had a bad rainstorm come through last night but my lawn is thankful for rain :)

I saw news coverage about a tornado sweeping through Louisiana, but it didn't say where! Did you just get the storm, or did the tornado come close to home?!
