It looks great at their house. It might be too dark for my house.
I would pair it with brown and white. Oh, who am I kidding? I would copy what Nate did exactly right down to putting pictures in gold frames as you walk in the door. I am nothing if not skilled in stealing other's ideas.

I think you could make the dark colour work in your room, as long as you don't do all 4 walls in it. Maybe just 1 or 2 walls (as accent) and a brighter colour on the others?
I think it will be great! That's why they put that kind of stuff in decorating magazines so we can copy their ideas for our own. Go for it!!
It's a very pretty color but a little dark looking. I would use it on the trim in my house because I like bright rooms.
Great idea - I know the finished project will look great ! So - - how many days b.4. vacation! - remember the cooler temps during that week!
