I seriously need some new dinner ideas.

This is where you come in.

What are you cooking?

How do you plan meals?

Do you freeze leftovers?  Do you plan for leftovers?

Ever use the website meal plans like e-mealz? (I've been seriously looking at this plan)

Subscribe to cooking magazines? Which ones?

How do you organize your recipes?

Do you keep all cooking magazines? How do you remember whats what? Bring the magazine with you to the grocery store? (Like I did on Friday).

Have a weekly list of what your cooking on the fridge door?

And how often do you go to the grocery store? Daily? Twice a week?

And when? After work? After 8p? First thing in the morning?  On Saturday morning? lunch time?

Seriously....

give me some ideas of what to cook. Im stuck.

You read my mind. I'm stuck too! But there is a great website/blog called Eat at Home (it's on one of my sidebars). Tiffany has wonderful menus, recipes and shopping lists to help you out! Try it! ;)!

Since going back to work I'm not cooking At All! My mom finds new recipe ideas on allrecipes.com. She's always making something yummy. :)

What - Anything healthy and relatively quick

How - We go through recipes online or in magazines and plan out the week.

Freeze - Not usually, but we make enough to have leftovers for lunch the next day.

Website - We don't use meals plans online but I use fitness magazine online, cooking light, and my recipes.

Cooking mags - LOVE Cooking Light and Real Simple

Organize - I actually buy a 3 ring binder and clear plastic paper protectors and tear our recipes in magazines and place them in the binder. I use dividers to divide the recipes by appetizer, meats, desserts, and misc.

List - We make a list on our whiteboard in the kitchen.

Grocery - We go once a week and get a week's worth of food.

When - Usually on the weekend, either Sat or Sun.

Hope that helps :)

umm, I did not see this coming. I always look for your food posts to give me ideas. I liked what you were doing in the kitchen. For me, I do like the magazine recipes. But, if I don't make the dish right then I almost will never get back to it. So I do use new recipes from magazines some. My monthly meals consists of fish, shrimp, or crawfish every week in different forms -- fried, baked, grilled, stew or etoufee. And there is chicken every week in different forms -- baked, bbq, crockpot, dumplings. Then the roast, pork chop meal, and ground beef usage. I always add a mexican meal of enchiladas or tacos, and an Italian meal of spaghetti, lasagna, or pizza. And a "big" salad with everything in it is always a winner at my house. Throw in a few vegies and bread/rolls every nite and I'm done. And my hate for grocery shopping still exists.

For the record, I'm bored too!

I try to plan out my meals for 2 weeks at a time, then shop for what I've planned. Every now and then I'll need to make a stop in-between those bi-weekly shopping trips for fresh produce. But I try to stay out of the store as often as possible.

When I make food, I try to prepare enough for two meals for our family - one to eat today, one for the freezer. Then I use the freezer meals on lazy/busy days. Or I use them if someone has a need and I can help meet it by delivering dinner.

I've been using some recipes from The Big Cook lately and am finding them exceedingly yummy!

To keep track of recipes, I use www.onetsp.com. It allows you to search and tag and such. As to the other questions, I got nothing.
