Our romantic dating spot in NO

One of our favorite spot in New Orleans.  Its on Williams Blvd right before the interstate headed home.

Harbor's Seafood.  We use to drive here when we were dating. It was one of our two or three dating spots. Not the romantic getaway you might expect? You'll miss it unless you know exactly where it is. Its a small place on a very busy street.

You have to park in the back, in the lot made of oyster shells. Yes, those oyster shells. The left overs when the oyster is taken out and cooked. We've contributed to "paving" a few feet of this lot.
You have to walk around the seafood shop. Seafood shop is bigger than the little restaurant next door.

There's gonna be a wait. Sometimes we just sit at the bar. Today we were lucky. Got the last table available.  It wasn't long before I heard the hostess saying it would be a 45 minute wait. No one left.  Just sat outside in the sun and waited. The specials for the day.....

What? No candles on the table? Only the essentials, hot sauce and a crawfish holding papertowels
We had a seafood salad

Fried catfish and fried shrimp.
Seafood Gumbo.
And boiled shrimp.

Then we usually share a bread pudding, but not today. Stuffed.
