What I ate- Friday

Morning Bible study with Grits, one turkey sausage patty, one piece of cinnamon raisin toast and 1/2 glass  milk   
2 cups of coffee
Running errands and lunch at Chick-Fil-A, a grilled chicken and fruit salad with water
Starbucks at Target
S'mores in the oven
Pasta with fire roasted tomatoes, brie and  green onion sausage (recipe here)

Lately

Started taking pictures to my hairdresser and saying.... make me look like this.

I figured my fancy new coffee pot deserves a fancy milk frother. I love it. Makes me want to get up earlier to leisurely enjoy coffee at home, which, lets just be honest, does not happen every morning......

One afternoon at work I decided walking 6 blocks (and back!) in heels for ice coffee was not ridiculous at all. I spent the rest of the afternoon in comfy socks nursing my hurting feet.



Confession Number One: I've seen the inside of a lot of dressing rooms lately. I think this one is Dillards.

 

I've got my eye on this rug and I'm pretty sure its coming home with me shortly. Never mind that I have nothing else in my house that is burnt orange. I just fell in love with this rug.

 
 

 

 



 

Confession Number two: I've been making sudden emergency chocolate yogurt trips.

But I cheated a little on the icing, and doctored up a can of buttercream frosting instead of making my own.  It was still delicious.

office accessories

A little office bling...

 A regular black tape dispenser from Walmart for $3.20 and a can of gold metallic spray paint for $3.98 and now my office accessories match.

I got the gold cup and card holder when I was too nervous to sit at home the night before the bar results came out and went to the Mall to do a little damage at Bombay Company. (I miss that store....)

My desk is a little more dressed up.  (PS.... the stapler is next!)

Overnight Raspberry Oatmeal sounds delicious, right? The recipe is everywhere on Pinterest.

I didn't like it. I think the jelly makes it too sweet.

Now that its hot and muggy every morning, I might like something cold. I'm gonna play around with some other flavor combinations.
