Makeover

Remember when I got this huge and dirty brass leaf at a yard sale for $1.00? It was so dirty, I scrubbed and scrubbed and nothing..... I almost gave up and was reaching for the spray paint.  but.....I knew it was real brass and I had seen it in a magazine. In this magazine.

See.... here it is. Not exactly, but close enough for $1.  But you know what cleans brass?

Google does. (a paste of flour, vinegar and salt.)

Now I love it so much I cant decide if its going on the kitchen table or the dining room table.
