A fresh makeover and a little accomplishment over the long holiday weekend

My new morning spot in the corner of the kitchen is working out really well except I do have a couple of complaints about it.  First, I don't have enough morning time in my spot. I  budget 30 minutes every morning, but sometimes I get to my spot late or get there in a rush from running around in the morning or any other number of things is cutting into my Bible and daily planning time.  I have to work on this...

I solved my second complaint this weekend by giving a $3 iron table from a garage sale a fresh makeover with a $3 can of paint from Wal-Mart.

The kitchen table always looks a mess because all my morning spot stuff is out on the table.  One afternoon, and four coats of spray paint later, its sitting practically out of sight and holding all my morning stuff.
