Christmas home tour (link up with Creole Wisdom)

When you were a kid, did the school pass around little flyers and you brought home and could buy books and little trinkets? My Maw-Maw always had money if I wanted books. I also bought many a little trinket and my favorite set of ornaments from that little flyer, a set of 6 little glass  hearts. I only have one of the original left.  I have two of This set , and its very similar.

I just received a little Christmas note from a friend.

When I was in law school, I was literally so broke I couldn't (or wouldn't) pay for this little Christmas pillow, so my best friend surprised with me it. It means a lot to me, because she saw me looking at it, and wanting it, and saw me put it back down, unable to buy it. Then she went back and got it for me.

Nativity set number one in dining room. (sitting on top of this mirror)

Probably my favorite Christmas décor. The little lambs (from Lifeway), I wish I had 10 more.

The kitchen table, with placemats found on 60% off clearance last year, a wreath just sitting on the table with a candle holder from Target  I've had for at least 15 years and a huge candle found on clearance for $4.99 (it was originally $24.99!)

Christmas "china"  has come out.
The mug was $.50 at Old Tyme Pottery
A set of dessert plates were $2 at a yard sale
The "Spode" is  the knock off, Christopher Radko, bought every year on clearance after Christmas. (Note to self: get to Sears on December 26)

Two ornaments, gifts from two girls in my Sunday School Class.

Its hard to believe the perfect spot for the tree is in the entry way. I can see it from living room and kitchen. I know the lights on the bottom aren't working, but its just too much for me to deal with right now. I'm pretty impressed that its up.

Nativity set number two, sitting in entry way. (the sign on the wall says "Be nice or leave")

It was so fun to have you link up :)

Your home looks lovely. That story about the pillow nearly made me tear up. I'm so glad you have that treasure to remember those years!

The lambs are fun!

Love your Christmas house. The lambs are precious. And the nativity set looks stunning on the mirror tray.
