Today, I spray painted:

The candle sconces I got at a yard sale for $1 for the pair.

I am trying to break my dependence on foreign oil black spray paint...... I use it so much that my husband asked me if I secretly joined a motorcycle group. I have to venture to another color. I'll be stealing ideas from others here

Very pretty!

My dh is so anti-black...until he sees what I do with it. I think his family is very superstitious and connect black with death. Not me, black breathes LIFE into things, I say :)

Very nice to meet you:)

They came out great, Garage sales are great, they are a adventure.
The Price is/was right!!
They have these new spray paints, at home depot here in florida, that give items the crackle look and they have them in different colors so beautiful, you can even use them on plastic. Makes them look like you really worked hard on them
Have fun & God Bless

A yard sale find and a can of black spray paint beats a catalog item every time! Those sconces look like they came right out of a catalog.
If black paint is working for you, there's no need to change.
It's a beautiful makeover!
